When I was a child, my siblings and I, we lived in a bad situation, because we didn’t have anything. We lived in a poor house, we didn’t have a car, money, comfort, anything else.
We wore old clothes, our clothes always came from donations from our relatives, we faced many challenges to study, to eat, everything was so difficult to us.
My father got sick after one year he got married, even though, they had 5 children and they adopted another one. They were really brave, weren’t they?
Everything I wanted was to grow up, to get a job, to make much money, and then I would buy everything I dreamed to have, and I could give comfort to my parents and all my family.
I did it. I worked hard, I studied a lot, my husband and I, together, we could have everything we dreamed, everything.
Now, do you know what?
My children don’t want our money, our cars, our properties, they don’t want anything.
In fact, they would rather to be poor, such as I was, because money isn’t that important to them.
I would like to Know if there are other parents living in the same dilemma. Are you there? What can we do?
After working hard, after fighting a lot for providing everything to our children, they don’t want anything.
And now?

I see that as a result of great parenting! They know they have all these privileges and still want to grow as you did back then. That's amazing!
