Art, an expression of uniqueness

Hello everybody, my name is Douglas and I created this blog to talk about culture and art. I chose to explore this topic because I'm passionate about art and the influences that the art causes in the world. So practically speaking, the art is a reflection of the man in the society in which he lives.

Since the beginning of time the human being seeks to represent himself and to explain or to understand his existence. For that, he discovered the art as a window to manifest his identity and uniqueness and to register his culture for the future generations.

Through the centuries different styles of art emerged and became unforgettable and "imortals" showing us idealistic, noble and fashion convictions. Taking a long view, the art can be described as a maximal expression of human intelligence and in my opinion, the styles like Baroque, Rococo, Classic and some others like these comprise the power, the beauty, the intelligence and the glory of great societies because these artistic styles comprise all the expressions of art like music, dance, drama, poem and the way to dress and to behave.

To sum up, I think at the end of the day the man will be recongnized for his art, and yes, this can be called UNIQUENESS.
